Freo Royale Fringe in Fremantle 2016

WA’s favourite seaside town will be welcoming the best of comedy, theatre, cabaret, music and art as FREO ROYALE brings Fringe World back to Fremantle from January 28th – February 7th 2016.

Highlights from this year’s program include critically acclaimed comedy provocateur Brendon Burns, Tubular Bells for Two’s recreation of Mike Oldfield’s musical masterpiece, the visually mesmerizing Luminous, the unmissable Freo Royale Gala, Doug Anthony All Stars, International Stand-up superstars Arj Barker and Eddie Ifft, Blues and Burlesque, Greg Fleets confessional These things happen, family favorite Arrr we there yet?, Funnyman Tahir (as seen on Pizza and Houso’s), plus many more showcasing their talents in the port city.  

Local Fremantle favourites the Fremantle Town Hall, Clancy’s Fish Pub, The National Hotel, PS Art Space, Sail and Anchor, Navy Club, Monastery, Buffalo Club, Fremantle Maritime Museum, Railway Hotel, The Odd Fellow, Creatures Nextdoor, Bar Orient, Moores Contemporary Art Gallery and Pioneer Reserve are all participating venues this year, providing charming performance spaces to host an range of amazing shows, from cabaret and circus to visual arts and film and everything in between.

The jewel in Freo Royale's crown is Kings Square Common – pop-up bar, as the space just outside the Fremantle Town Hall transforms into the central meeting place of the festival for patrons to enjoy a casual drink, delicious food and an array of free entertainment, including acoustic acts, DJs, street performers, kids’ activities and exhibitions.
